RE: Horseshoe Lake Project, Steve Hanson

At our association meeting of August 30, 2008, the following motion was passed by a majority show-of-hands vote:

"That (the association) write a letter to the town of Beaver and Polk County zoning that Horseshoe Lake Improvement Association and its members are against more than one dwelling per divided parcel in the areas of Horseshoe Lake defined as "shoreland" in the Polk County Shoreland Zoning Ordinance." The motion was amended to include identical letters to Almena township and the Barron County Zoning administration, as the county line runs through our lake.

As this motion generated a lot of discussion, I was additionally asked by passed motion to write another letter which is included in this mailing.

Respectfully,
Sandra (Sam) Lindquist, Secretary
Horseshoe Lake Improvement Association

Turtle Lake WI 54889
